DURING CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY TAKE-HOME FOOD & DRINK ONLY

For days we have been poring over all the advice from the government and the NHS about how to do all we can to minimize the danger to all of us from the coronavirus. If it were safe to do so we would love to be able to keep going, but regrettably we think the only responsible answer must involve a temporary halt to serving food & drink in the tearoom, until we get the go-ahead to re-open.
The good news is that we have drawn up plans to offer, from tomorrow, a take-away service at the tearoom – including hot and cold drinks, cakes, scones, soup, sandwiches and quiches. Our hours remain the same: 10.30am to 4.30pm. You can just turn up at the tearoom, or order in advance on 01353 661100 (and we can arrange a ‘contactless pick-up’ at the tearoom for those who need it.) In the very near future we hope to be able to deliver locally.
